SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE ORDER OF BUSINESS OF CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.

PURPOSE

 

As previously directed by City Council, Resolution 26,527 establishes the order of business of City Council meetings to have the Airport Authority report follow the public hearings and the reporting on closed session items.  Typically, if there is a public hearing the City Council will change the order of business so that the Airport Authority report will be heard before the public hearings.  Staff recommends changing the order of business so that the Airport Authority report precedes the public hearings and the reporting on closed session items as a matter of course.

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends the City Council adopt the proposed Resolution.
