At the June 22, 2004 regular City Council Meeting, a resolution approving an increase to the City�s Transient Parking Tax (TPT) was postponed by the Council due to the absence of Council Member Golonski.  This item was included as part of the overall adoption of the Fiscal Year 2004-05 Budget.  If approved, the increase would generate approximately $165,000 in additional, recurring revenue to the City.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends that the Council adopt a resolution approving an increase of the Transient Parking Tax from 10% to 11%.
