At the July 15 Council meeting staff was directed to prepare letters to the Cities of Glendale and Pasadena seeking amendments to the Joint Powers Agreement between the three cities which established and governs the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority.  Staff is preparing such letters and will have them reviewed by Council members Golonski and Campbell as directed by Council.  Once completed and reviewed these letters will be provided to all Council members.

Council also asked that letter be prepared to United Airlines and American Airlines asking that they reconsider the recently instituted early Sunday morning flights and all flights outside of the curfew period.  This letter will also be provided when prepared.

It is recommended that Council approve the subject letters.
